PT Jamkrindo, in collaboration with the Jamkrindo Zakat Collection Unit (UPZ), organized the Jamkrindo Social Care Program through a Safari Ramadhan initiative. This program involved the distribution of 5,100 food packages to communities in need and financial aid for 1,000 orphans, carried out simultaneously across all Jamkrindo offices in Indonesia on Monday, May 3, 2021.
PT Jamkrindo President Director, Putrama Wahju Setyawan, stated that this initiative is part of the 51st anniversary celebration of the company.
"The distribution of food packages and aid for orphans is a regular social responsibility initiative we carry out as part of our commitment to social welfare. We hope this assistance benefits those in need," Putrama said in a press release in Jakarta, Monday, May 3, 2021.
The distribution was conducted not only at Jamkrindo’s headquarters but also at 9 Regional Offices and 56 Branch Offices across Indonesia, including the Special Jakarta Branch Office.
Alongside the Safari Ramadhan program, Jamkrindo has carried out various social initiatives, including: Support for 51 honorary teachers, Scholarships for 51 children of healthcare workers, Scholarships for 51 children of Jamkrindo’s outsourced employees, Donation of 3 ambulances to communities in need.
The theme for Jamkrindo’s 51st anniversary is “MSMEs Rise with the Spirit of Collaboration”, highlighting the company’s commitment to empowering MSMEs. Given that MSMEs are the backbone of the national economy, their growth is critical to Indonesia’s economic recovery.
Beyond social initiatives, Jamkrindo also organized: An interactive discussion on “MSMEs Level Up to Strengthen the National Economy”, A journalism competition, The “Kilas UMKM Layak” program, Workshops for MSMEs, such as "Optimizing Smartphones for Product Photography in Digital Marketing"
These activities will continue until the peak of the anniversary celebration on July 1, 2021.
