In celebration of its 51st anniversary, PT Jamkrindo carried out a health care initiative by distributing 5,100 health packages—consisting of vitamins, face masks, and hand sanitizers—to communities nationwide on Friday, June 25, 2021. This initiative aims to help curb the spread of COVID-19.
PT Jamkrindo President Director Putrama Wahju Setyawan emphasized that this aid reflects the company’s social responsibility and commitment to the public during the pandemic. The initiative is part of Jamkrindo’s anniversary celebrations, which fall on July 1, 2021. "We hope this assistance helps communities in their efforts to prevent the spread of COVID-19," Putrama stated in a press release on Friday (06/25/2021).
The health packages were distributed not only at the company's headquarters but also simultaneously at 9 Regional Offices and 56 Branch Offices across Indonesia. Jamkrindo's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs are categorized under three main initiatives: Jamkrindo Social Care, Jamkrindo Education Care, and Jamkrindo Health Care.
As part of Jamkrindo Social Care, the company distributed 5,100 staple food packages, provided financial aid to 1,000 orphaned children, and donated prosthetic legs to individuals with disabilities.
Under Jamkrindo Health Care, in addition to distributing the 5,100 health packages, the company also donated three ambulances for communities in Palimanan, Sragen, and Pasuruan.
Meanwhile, Jamkrindo Education Care awarded scholarships to 51 children of healthcare workers, provided financial support to 51 honorary teachers, and granted 51 merit-based scholarships to children of Jamkrindo's outsourced employees. The program also included donations for educational support facilities.
As a member of the Indonesia Financial Group (IFG) holding, PT Jamkrindo plays a crucial role in credit guarantee services, offering both program-based and non-program-based guarantees. Its program-based guarantees include People’s Business Credit (KUR) and Working Capital Credit (KMK) under the National Economic Recovery (PEN) program. Meanwhile, its non-program-based guarantees cover general credit guarantees, microcredit guarantees, construction and procurement guarantees, goods distribution guarantees, surety bonds, customs bonds, cargo agency guarantees, supply chain financing guarantees (invoice financing), and guarantees for fintech institutions.
