PT Jamkrindo, through its corporate social responsibility initiative in collaboration with the Unit Pengumpul Zakat (UPZ) PT Jamkrindo, has provided an Emergency Response Vehicle to DKM Masjid Baitul Awwalin Dukuh Macanmati in Klandungan Village, Ngrampal District, Sragen, Central Java. The donation, made on Tuesday, July 13, 2021, is part of Jamkrindo’s 51st anniversary celebration, reinforcing its commitment to social welfare.
The handover ceremony took place at Jamkrindo’s Semarang Office, where Regional Leader V Semarang, Loesdarwanto, officially handed over the vehicle to Klandungan Village Head, Sukarsono, representing the local community. The event was also attended virtually by Jamkrindo’s Business Director, Suwarsito, and UPZ Chairman, Aribowo.
Suwarsito emphasized that this initiative aims to address transportation challenges for healthcare access, ensuring that community members can receive timely medical services.
"We hope this emergency vehicle will be well-managed and fully utilized by the community, making healthcare more accessible whenever needed," he stated.
Chairman of UPZ PT Jamkrindo, Aribowo, highlighted that Jamkrindo, through its partnership and community development programs, consistently provides support in various sectors, including economic empowerment, healthcare, and education, as well as assistance for those affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
"This initiative is expected to ensure that no one is left without proper healthcare access, especially in urgent situations," he added.
Since its establishment in 2018, UPZ PT Jamkrindo has expanded beyond being a Zakat Collection Unit, evolving into a Zakat Distribution Unit that channels funds toward economic aid, education, healthcare, religious facilities, humanitarian relief, and more.
As a credit guarantee company and a member of the Indonesia Financial Group (IFG) holding, Jamkrindo actively contributes to disaster relief efforts and community support programs. The company has previously donated medical equipment, food packages, scholarships, economic empowerment assistance, and other aid related to the COVID-19 crisis.

Within the organization, Jamkrindo also encouraged employee participation through: Innovation Podcast & Lesson Learned Competitions, Branch Management Action Plan Competitions, Virtual chess, Mobile Legends, and song cover competitions ("Jamming")
These activities aim to foster innovation, enhance employees’ expertise in MSME analysis, and encourage engagement within the company.
