PT Jamkrindo has joined a significant collaboration among state-owned enterprises (BUMN) for the Integrated Clean Water Supply Program in Cidadap Village, Simpenan Subdistrict, Sukabumi Regency, West Java. The program is initiated by the Ministry of BUMN and involves a partnership between PT Jamkrindo, PT Indra Karya (Persero), PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk, Pembangunan Perumahan (Persero) Tbk, and PT Brantas Abipraya (Persero). This joint initiative is valued at approximately Rp 1.45 billion and was officially launched on Saturday, August 28, 2021.
The program aims to address the challenges of clean water access in the area, providing water supply systems at six locations across two sub-villages: Dusun Mariuk and Dusun Pasir Lengking. The handover ceremony took place in Cidadap Village, with Agus Suharyono, Assistant Deputy for Social and Environmental Responsibility at the Ministry of BUMN, presenting the aid to Dadang Ramdani, the Head of Simpenan Subdistrict, and Deden Anta Nurman, the Head of Cidadap Village. Representatives from all the collaborating companies were also present at the event.
Putrama Wahju Setyawan, President Director of PT Jamkrindo, emphasized that the company's involvement in this program is part of its corporate social and environmental responsibility. “Jamkrindo’s participation in this program is an active role in supporting the sustainable development goals (SDGs), specifically in providing access to clean water,” said Putrama in a press statement.
The project incorporates smart water technology, utilizing pump systems and pipes to extract and purify water from multiple sources. It is hoped that the availability of clean water in Cidadap Village will improve sanitation and health quality, thereby fostering a more productive community capable of optimizing its economic potential. “We hope that this Integrated Clean Water Supply Program, initiated by the Ministry of BUMN, will yield maximum results for the improvement of productivity and the economy of the community,” Putrama added.
In addition to the clean water supply, PT Jamkrindo also distributed food assistance to the residents of Simpenan Subdistrict. Since 2019, PT Jamkrindo has been actively involved in supporting sustainable development initiatives in Ciletuh Geopark in Sukabumi Regency, through various programs such as anti-waste campaigns, local community empowerment, and economic development initiatives. These efforts include providing mango processing machines and training for Saluyu SME members, funding programs for Ciletuh Homestay Association members, and assistance in the form of communal livestock shelters and sheep/goat seedlings.
As a member of the Indonesia Financial Group (IFG) holding, PT Jamkrindo offers a variety of products, both program-based and non-program-based guarantees. For program-based guarantees, PT Jamkrindo offers KUR (Micro Credit) guarantees and KMK (Working Capital Credit) guarantees in the context of PEN (National Economic Recovery). Non-program guarantees include general credit guarantees, microcredit guarantees, construction and procurement guarantees, distribution guarantees, surety bonds, customs bonds, cargo agency guarantees, supply chain financing (invoice financing) guarantees, and fintech institution guarantees.
