Jakarta – PT Jamkrindo, a member of the Indonesian Credit Guarantee Association (Asippindo), actively participated in the 33rd Asian Credit Supplementation Institution Confederation (ACSIC) Conference, held virtually in Japan on November 16, 2021.
Asippindo Chairman I. Rusdonobanu, who also serves as Director of Finance, Investment, and Risk Management at PT Jamkrindo, emphasized the strategic importance of Jamkrindo's participation in the international conference.
“The credit guarantee industry plays a crucial role in supporting MSMEs to survive and grow amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Rusdonobanu on November 16, 2021.
At this year’s ACSIC Conference, Jamkrindo shared its expertise and experiences in credit guarantee for working capital loans (KMK PEN) as part of Indonesia’s National Economic Recovery Program (PEN).
“The KMK PEN credit guarantee program has played a pivotal role in reducing credit risk for MSMEs and encouraging banks to extend more working capital loans, thus accelerating Indonesia’s economic recovery,” Rusdonobanu explained.
As of October 2021, PT Jamkrindo, together with its subsidiary PT Penjaminan Jamkrindo Syariah (Jamsyar), had recorded a KMK PEN guarantee volume of IDR 23.32 trillion, with: Jamkrindo: IDR 15.94 trillion, Jamsyar: IDR 7.38 trillion, Total Guaranteed MSME Debtors: 1,470,485 businesses
