As part of its Safari Ramadan 1443 Hijriah initiative, PT Jamkrindo distributed social aid packages to students at Al-Madinah Islamic Boarding School in Wara, Kebun Cengkeh, Batu Merah, Sirimau, Ambon, on Wednesday, April 20, 2022.
This initiative aligns with Jamkrindo’s 52nd-anniversary celebrations and is part of the company’s Corporate Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) program, reflecting its commitment to community welfare and education.
PT Jamkrindo President Director, Putrama Wahju Setyawan, highlighted that Safari Ramadan, themed "Strengthen Bonds, Purify the Heart, Care, and Share," serves as a platform to connect with communities and provide meaningful support.
"This initiative is a reflection of our commitment to being present within society, especially for the young students at Al-Madinah Islamic Boarding School. We see this as an appropriate location to extend our corporate social responsibility," Putrama stated in a written statement.
The Safari Ramadan activities in Ambon focused on: Distribution of food aid packages, Donations for orphans, Quran distribution, and Shoe donations for students at Al-Madinah Islamic Boarding School.
The aid packages were symbolically received by the school’s administrators and students, with the handover conducted by: I. Rusdonobanu, Director of Finance, Investment, and Risk Management at PT Jamkrindo, Abdul Bari, Corporate Secretary, and Ketum DKM Masjid Al Muhajirin, PT Jamkrindo.
Ustadz Bachtiar, an administrator at Al-Madinah Islamic Boarding School, expressed his gratitude:

Beyond Ambon, Jamkrindo’s Safari Ramadan program is being conducted at multiple locations across Indonesia, including: Medan, Lampung, Serang, Ambon, Semarang, Malang, Denpasar, Cirebon, Samarinda, and Jakarta Special Branch, which organized activities alongside the head office.
Several other Jamkrindo branches also carried out independent social programs, ensuring wider community reach.
In total, Jamkrindo’s Safari Ramadan program has distributed: 5,200 food aid packages, 550 Qurans, and Financial assistance to numerous orphanages and foster homes.
As part of the anniversary celebrations, Jamkrindo also launched other social initiatives, including: Distribution of 5,200 pairs of shoes to students in need, Support for educational institutions, and Financial assistance for underprivileged children.
