Cirebon – In celebration of Safari Ramadan and its upcoming 52nd anniversary on July 1, 2022, PT Jamkrindo has distributed 5,200 food aid packages and donations across various regions, including Cirebon. This initiative reflects Jamkrindo’s commitment to social responsibility, reinforcing its mission to support underprivileged communities, particularly during Ramadan.
PT Jamkrindo President Director, Putrama Wahju Setyawan, stated that Safari Ramadan is part of the company’s Corporate Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) program, aiming to strengthen community ties and provide meaningful assistance.
"Providing food aid and donations for orphans is a tradition we uphold as a form of social responsibility. We hope this initiative brings relief and blessings to those in need while strengthening community bonds," Putrama explained.
The Safari Ramadan program includes: Food aid package distribution, Financial support for orphans, Tarawih prayer gatherings, and Quran donations to mosques and Islamic institutions.
Jamkrindo’s Safari Ramadan activities are conducted throughout Ramadan across multiple locations, including: Medan, Lampung, Serang, Ambon, Semarang, Malang, Denpasar, Cirebon, Samarinda, and Jakarta Special Branch, which conducted activities in conjunction with the head office.
In addition to these locations, several other Jamkrindo branches also carried out independent community support programs aligned with the Safari Ramadan theme: "Strengthen Bonds, Purify the Heart, Care, and Share."
On April 22, 2022, Sulis Usdoko, Director of HR, General Affairs, Compliance, and Information Technology at PT Jamkrindo, symbolically handed over the donations, accompanied by: Muchamad Kisworo, Head of Regional Office IV Bandung, and Ratih Hatniyanti, Head of Jamkrindo Cirebon Branch.
The aid distribution in Cirebon reached multiple institutions, including: Lembaga Kesejahteraan Sosial Anak (LKSA) Al-Falah (led by Cucu Juarnah), Rumah Qur’an Pondok Tarbiyatul Qur’an Al Mujaddid (Dr. K.H Toto Abu Zulfa Muhammad, M.Ag), Panti Asuhan Yatim Piatu dan Dhu’afa Al-Ichsan (H. Abdulloh Nur Aly), Pondok Pesantren Miftahuss’adah (Ustadz Pendi Dzulfiqor), Pondok Pesantren Al-Qolam (Agus Farizky), and Local community representatives, including Sawur.
