Malang – In celebration of Safari Ramadan and in conjunction with its upcoming 52nd anniversary on July 1, 2022, PT Jamkrindo has distributed 5,200 food aid packages and donations across various regions, including Malang. The initiative focuses on providing essential supplies to underprivileged communities, supporting orphans, organizing Tarawih prayers, and donating Qurans to mosques.
PT Jamkrindo President Director, Putrama Wahju Setyawan, emphasized that Safari Ramadan is part of the company's Corporate Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) program.
"This initiative is a reflection of Jamkrindo’s commitment to being present in the community, aligning with this year’s Ramadan theme: ‘Strengthen Bonds, Purify the Heart, Care, and Share’," Putrama stated.
He added that the distribution of food aid and donations for orphans is a routine social responsibility program aimed at fostering solidarity and easing the burden on those in need.
Safari Ramadan activities have been conducted throughout the month of Ramadan, not only at Jamkrindo’s headquarters but also at 10 regional offices, including: Medan, Lampung, Serang, Ambon, Semarang, Malang, Denpasar, Cirebon, Samarinda, and Jakarta Special Branch, which carried out activities in conjunction with the head office.
Additionally, other branches also conducted independent social programs, ensuring that more communities benefited from the initiative.
As part of the Malang distribution, a symbolic handover took place at Mawaddah Warrahmah Orphanage on April 22, 2022. The aid was presented by: Lusy Susanti, Head of Service Network Division at PT Jamkrindo, Heryanto, Head of Jamkrindo Regional Office 6 Surabaya, and Abdul Qadir, Head of Jamkrindo Malang Branch, Mansyur, the orphanage representative.
Expressing his gratitude, Mansyur stated:
