Denpasar – As part of its Safari Ramadan activities, PT Jamkrindo continues its food aid distribution in Bali, providing 1,000 food packages in Paguyangan, Denpasar. The symbolic handover of the aid was directly conducted by PT Jamkrindo President Director, Putrama Wahju Setyawan, on Thursday, April 28, 2022.
Previously, in the initial phase, Jamkrindo distributed 500 food packages to residents of Guwang Village, Sukawati District, Gianyar Regency, on April 20, 2022.
As part of its Ramadan initiatives in multiple cities across Indonesia, Jamkrindo has provided: 5,200 food aid packages, 550 Qurans, and Donations to numerous orphanages and foster homes across the country.
"The distribution of food packages and donations for orphans is a routine activity that reflects our commitment to social responsibility. This initiative is also part of our 52nd anniversary celebrations, which will take place on July 1, 2022. We hope this assistance benefits the community," said Putrama in an official press release on April 28, 2022.
Beyond the Safari Ramadan program, Jamkrindo is also donating 5,200 pairs of shoes to students in need, coinciding with the resumption of in-person education across Indonesia.
"These social programs are part of our Corporate Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) initiatives, aimed at creating a meaningful impact on communities," Putrama added.
