For some people, public speaking is not an easy task. Feelings of fear, nervousness, and lack of confidence often become obstacles, including for people with disabilities. As part of its efforts to empower people with disabilities, Jamkrindo organized a public speaking training program to help develop communication skills.

The President Director of PT Jamkrindo, Putrama Wahju Setyawan, stated that this initiative was part of the company's 52nd-anniversary social activities and was specifically designed for visually impaired and physically disabled individuals. "We hope this training can help our disabled friends explore and enhance their public speaking skills, thereby supporting their personal development and career growth in the future," he said in a press release on Saturday, June 18, 2022.

The training program covered Master of Ceremony (MC) lessons and was conducted from June 18 to July 4, 2022, in Melawai, South Jakarta. Jamkrindo collaborated with Speak Project, an organization that provided the training for disabled participants.

Sandika Dewi Rosalini, CEO of Speak Project, appreciated Jamkrindo's initiative in offering public speaking training for people with disabilities. She emphasized the significant benefits of this training in enhancing soft skills for the participants. "We highly appreciate Jamkrindo's initiative in empowering disabled individuals to advance and develop themselves," she said.

In addition to public speaking training, Jamkrindo also provided prosthetic legs to people with disabilities. The beneficiaries included Muhamad Riki (10 years old), Sri Yuniar (9 years old), Noermas Nuryadin (30 years old), Ahmad Syahril (38 years old), and Bima Raditya (13 years old).

Ahmad Syahril shared that his leg had to be amputated in 2016 due to an infection that spread to his calf. He expressed his gratitude to Jamkrindo for fulfilling his wish to receive a prosthetic leg. "Thank you, Jamkrindo. With this prosthetic leg, I hope to work harder and earn a living," he said.

Beyond supporting people with disabilities, Jamkrindo also organized various social initiatives as part of its 52nd-anniversary celebrations, including donating 5,200 pairs of shoes to students, providing social aid packages, and conducting a blood donation drive in collaboration with the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI).

These social activities reflect the company’s commitment to not only focusing on business but also actively engaging with the community. To drive business growth, Jamkrindo's 52nd anniversary adopted the theme “Transform To Be More Perform,” symbolizing the company’s strategic transformation.
