To honor the holy month of Ramadan 1444 H and as part of its 53rd-anniversary celebrations leading up to July 1, 2023, PT Jaminan Kredit Indonesia (Jamkrindo) organized a Safari Ramadan initiative across multiple regions, including Sumbawa Besar on Tuesday, April 4, 2023.
The Safari Ramadan program included various activities such as distributing free food packages, providing financial assistance to orphans, and donating learning equipment to Quran learning centers (TPQ).
In Sumbawa Besar, Jamkrindo distributed hundreds of free food packages, provided support for orphans, and donated TPQ equipment. These contributions were symbolically handed over by Jamkrindo's President Director, Hendro Padmono, to the beneficiaries.
Hendro explained that the Safari Ramadan program is part of the company’s corporate social and environmental responsibility (TJSL) efforts.
“This initiative reflects Jamkrindo’s commitment to being present within the community, aligning with this year’s Ramadan theme: ‘Ramadan Full of Meaning through Sharing,’” Hendro stated during the Safari Ramadan event at Rumah Yatim dan Dhuafa Putri An-Nisa’ in Sumbawa Besar on Tuesday afternoon (04/04/2023).
Despite the challenges posed by the Covid-19 pandemic and the ongoing transition to endemic conditions, Jamkrindo’s performance has continued to grow, delivering positive impacts for both the corporation and the holding group.
“Providing food packages and assistance to orphans is a regular social responsibility activity that we carry out. We hope these contributions will bring benefits to the community,” Hendro added.
Siti Nurbaya Sugiharto, the Head of An-Nisa’ Orphanage, expressed her gratitude to Jamkrindo for their support.
“Thank you to Jamkrindo. May Jamkrindo continue to succeed and contribute to improving the welfare of society,” she said.
The Safari Ramadan program was conducted throughout Ramadan across 11 Jamkrindo operational units in Indonesia, including Jakarta, Padang, Palembang, Balikpapan, Pekalongan, Pontianak, Tasikmalaya, Jayapura, Banyuwangi, and Sumbawa Besar.
Nationally, Jamkrindo distributed 7,937 free food packages, provided assistance to 771 orphans, and donated TPQ equipment to 11 mosques.
