In celebration of the holy month of Ramadan 1444 H and as part of the lead-up to its 53rd anniversary on July 1, 2023, PT Jaminan Kredit Indonesia (Jamkrindo) carried out simultaneous social initiatives in Palembang, Balikpapan, and Sumbawa Besar on Tuesday, April 4, 2023.

These activities are part of Jamkrindo’s Safari Ramadan program, conducted throughout the month of Ramadan across 11 regional units in Indonesia, including Jakarta, Padang, Pekalongan, Pontianak, Tasikmalaya, Jayapura, Banyuwangi, Palembang, Sumbawa Besar, and Balikpapan.

The social activities included distributing food packages, providing financial assistance to orphans, and donating educational equipment to Quran learning centers (TPQs). Nationally, Jamkrindo has distributed 7,937 free food packages, extended assistance to 771 orphans, and donated TPQ equipment to 11 mosques.

“Distributing food packages and supporting orphans is a routine activity for us as part of our commitment to social responsibility. We hope this assistance benefits the community,” said Jamkrindo President Director Hendro Padmono in a press statement.

Hendro emphasized that these activities reflect Jamkrindo's commitment to being present in communities, aligned with this year's Ramadan theme, ‘Ramadan Full of Meaning through Sharing’.

“Even during the COVID-19 pandemic and now as we transition to an endemic phase, Jamkrindo’s performance has continued to grow, providing positive impacts for the corporation and its holding,” Hendro added.

As part of the Safari Ramadan program in Balikpapan, Jamkrindo distributed hundreds of free food packages, provided financial aid to dozens of orphans, and donated equipment to Quran learning centers.

In Balikpapan, the assistance was symbolically handed over by PT Jamkrindo’s Director of Guarantee Business, Henry Panjaitan, to H. Taufik Ridwan, head of the LKSA Al Mu’min foundation, on Tuesday, April 4.

“Thank you to Jamkrindo. May Jamkrindo continue to prosper and contribute to improving community welfare,” said H. Taufik.

This initiative demonstrates Jamkrindo’s dedication to social and environmental responsibility, ensuring the company continues to deliver meaningful contributions to communities across Indonesia.
