BATAM – In celebration of Ramadan and as part of the series of events leading up to PT Jamkrindo's 53rd anniversary on July 1, 2023, the company organized Safari Ramadan programs across several regions. During these events, various social initiatives were carried out, including the distribution of basic food packages, financial aid for orphans, and donations of equipment for Quran learning centers (TPQ).
President Director of PT Jamkrindo, Hendro Padmono, emphasized that the Safari Ramadan program is part of the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Environmental Responsibility initiatives. These activities reflect Jamkrindo's commitment to being present and contributing to the community.
"This aligns with this year’s Ramadan theme, ‘A Meaningful Ramadan Through Sharing.’ Despite the challenges of the Covid-19 pandemic and the current transition to an endemic phase, Jamkrindo has continued to achieve growth while creating positive impacts for both the corporation and its holding company," Hendro stated.
Jehezkiel Marquee Marchitaliano, Head of PT Jamkrindo Batam Branch, emphasized that distributing food packages and providing aid to orphans is a regular activity carried out by PT Jamkrindo Batam as part of its social responsibility efforts.
"We hope this assistance will benefit the community," said Jehezkiel in a press release.
The Safari Ramadan activities were held during the holy month of Ramadan at the PT Jamkrindo Batam Branch office. As part of the event, PT Jamkrindo distributed 83 free food aid packages in Batam.
On a national scale, Jamkrindo provided 7,937 food packages, financial assistance to 771 orphans, and equipment donations for Quran learning centers (TPQ) in 11 mosques.
In Batam, the aid was symbolically handed over by Branch Leader Jehezkiel to underprivileged residents living near the PT Jamkrindo Batam Branch office.
One of the beneficiaries, Udin, expressed his gratitude for the assistance. "Thank you to Jamkrindo. I hope Jamkrindo continues to succeed and contributes to improving the welfare of the community," he said.
