Jamkrindo Celebrates 53rd Anniversary with Commitment to Enhance Financial Accessibility for MSMEs
Jakarta – PT Jaminan Kredit Indonesia (Jamkrindo) marked its 53rd anniversary on July 1, 2023, reaffirming its commitment to improving financial accessibility for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). As it matures further, Jamkrindo aims to bolster its role in bridging MSMEs with financial institutions.
Acting President Director of PT Jamkrindo, Ivan Soeparno, emphasized the company's unwavering dedication to facilitating MSME access to financing through its comprehensive guarantee services. Jamkrindo plays a critical role in enabling feasible but not yet bankable MSMEs to obtain financing, particularly those lacking sufficient collateral.
“With Jamkrindo’s credit guarantees, feasible MSMEs that lack collateral can access the financing they need. This contributes to increased financial inclusion and helps drive economic growth,” Ivan explained.
Ivan further highlighted the company’s continuous transformation to adapt to evolving challenges and opportunities. These efforts underpin Jamkrindo’s commitment to sustainable growth, revenue enhancement, cost efficiency, and prudent business practices, all while providing top-tier services.
The 53rd-anniversary theme, Sailing Together Be Better, symbolizes the collaborative spirit of Jamkrindo’s team in overcoming challenges and seizing opportunities to ensure more MSMEs can access financial services.
“May Jamkrindo, as it continues to mature, fulfill its strategic role in supporting government policies and national economic development,” Ivan added.
In 2022, Jamkrindo recorded a guaranteed volume of Rp 312.36 trillion, reflecting a 26.19% increase, covering 10.8 million MSMEs. By May 2023, the company had achieved a guaranteed volume of Rp 144.59 trillion, covering 4.47 million MSME debtors.
The company also organized a series of social initiatives as part of the anniversary celebrations. These included anti-bullying and anti-sexual harassment education for 5,300 elementary students in collaboration with PAUD Inspirasi Indonesia and the National Child Protection Commission (Komnas PA); free eye exams and eyeglasses distribution for elementary students in Eastern Indonesia; MSME business classes; and the distribution of sacrificial animals during Eid al-Adha.
