Jakarta – PT Jamkrindo is actively promoting its supported Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) at the International Handicraft Trade Fair (INACRAFT), the largest and most comprehensive handicraft exhibition in Southeast Asia. The promotion aims to assist MSMEs in expanding their markets globally.
Aribowo, Corporate Secretary of Jamkrindo, highlighted the strategic role that INACRAFT plays in expanding the market reach of MSME actors, particularly Jamkrindo’s partners. He emphasized that INACRAFT offers significant exposure, with many government officials, international guests, and potential buyers attending the event.
“As a prestigious international exhibition, Jamkrindo hopes that our partners’ participation will help them access broader markets. We are also incredibly proud that President Joko Widodo visited our booth during the event,” said Aribowo in a press statement.
Aribowo further noted that facilitating MSMEs’ participation in national and international exhibitions is not a new initiative for Jamkrindo. This has been a regular effort by the company to support MSMEs in upgrading their businesses and contributing to the national economy.
At INACRAFT, Jamkrindo showcased the creative economy sector through its supported bamboo/woodcraft partner, Craftote. Craftote is an MSME offering eco-friendly home decor products made from natural fibers grown in Indonesia and traditionally woven by artisans. “We hope that Craftote’s participation will directly impact the increase in their revenue and market access,” he explained.
INACRAFT 2024 was held from February 28 to March 3, 2024, at the Jakarta Convention Center (JCC). This major handicraft exhibition provided a platform for MSMEs to showcase their creations. Organized by the Indonesian Handicraft Exporters and Entrepreneurs Association (ASEPHI) in collaboration with Mediatama Event, the exhibition featured over 1,500 MSMEs and filled 1,066 stands.
