Tangerang – To mark the holy month of Ramadan and in conjunction with its upcoming 54th anniversary on July 1, 2024, PT Jamkrindo organized a Ramadan Safari program across several regions. The initiative featured various social activities, including the distribution of free food packages, donations to orphans, stipends for Quran teachers and mosque caretakers (marbots), and the provision of worship equipment for local prayer facilities.
Henry Panjaitan, Director of Business Guarantee at Jamkrindo, emphasized that the Ramadan Safari is part of the company’s Corporate Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) program.
"This program reflects Jamkrindo's commitment to being present for the community. In line with this year’s theme, ‘Ramadan Kareem, Purify Your Heart by Sharing,’ we hope these efforts bring meaningful benefits to society," Henry stated.
Social activities, such as distributing food packages and providing support to orphans, are regular initiatives undertaken by Jamkrindo as part of its dedication to social care.
In Tangerang, Jamkrindo distributed 150 free food packages, provided donations to 35 orphans, supported Quran teachers and mosque caretakers, and donated worship equipment for local prayer facilities.
On a national scale, the Ramadan Safari program has distributed 5,400 free food packages, donations to 648 orphans, stipends to 29 Quran teachers and 22 mosque caretakers, and worship equipment to 12 prayer facilities.
"May this Ramadan Safari program foster gratitude, strengthen relationships, and bring blessings and benefits to all," Henry added.
The Head of the Al-Falah Orphanage Foundation, Yuda Abdul Jabar, expressed his gratitude to Jamkrindo. "Thank you, Jamkrindo. May the company continue to succeed and contribute to improving community welfare," he said.
