As a credit guarantee institution in Indonesia, PT Jaminan Kredit Indonesia (Jamkrindo) reiterated its commitment to advancing the Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprise (MSME) sector during the signing ceremony with Bank Nobu. Abdul Bari, Director of Institutional and Services at Jamkrindo, emphasized the importance of this partnership in enhancing MSME access to financing, which is crucial for their growth and the broader economic progress of the nation.

“As a credit guarantor in Indonesia, we are committed to focusing on the advancement of the MSME sector. We hope Bank Nobu’s support in providing access to financing will become a key driver for economic growth, MSME development, and sustainable progress,” he stated.

Bari explained that KUR guarantees are vital in supporting productive and viable MSMEs that are not yet “bankable” (unable to meet the credit requirements of banks or financial institutions). By offering such guarantees, the KUR program aims to increase MSME competitiveness, helping them grow into sustainable enterprises on a larger scale.

“With KUR, the development of the real sector and MSME empowerment can be accelerated, ultimately leading to expanded employment opportunities and improved welfare,” he added.

Andrian Meirawan Saputra, Director of Technology & Innovation at Bank Nobu, expressed enthusiasm for the collaboration, emphasizing its role in supporting the growth and development of MSMEs in Indonesia. He noted that MSMEs have enormous potential to serve as a cornerstone of the national economy, demonstrating resilience even during periods of crisis.

“In line with Bank Nobu’s vision and mission, we hope that the distribution of KUR to Indonesian MSMEs will enable them to move up to the next level. This includes producing higher-quality goods that can be marketed not only domestically but also internationally,” Andrian stated.

This partnership between Jamkrindo and Bank Nobu signifies a strategic step forward in empowering MSMEs, accelerating their transition to becoming key pillars of Indonesia’s economic resilience, and promoting sustainable growth through quality products and global competitiveness.
