Jakarta – PT Jaminan Kredit Indonesia (Jamkrindo) recently welcomed a study visit from The Association of Development Finance Institutions Malaysia (ADFIM). The delegation was received by Jamkrindo’s Director of Human Resources, General Affairs, and Risk Management Ivan Soeparno; Director of Business Guarantee Henry Panjaitan; and Director of Institutional and Service Operations Abdul Bari.
Henry Panjaitan warmly welcomed the ADFIM delegation, stating that the visit served as an important opportunity for enhancing synergy and collaboration. “This visit is a crucial moment for mutual learning and updating on current issues in the financial industry,” he remarked.
Strategic Discussions for Industry Growth
During the visit, Jamkrindo and ADFIM held discussions on several strategic topics, including the development of innovative financing products, strategies for advancing small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), and risk management practices. “This exchange of ideas is expected to provide new insights and fresh ideas for developing the financial industry in the ASEAN region,” Henry added.
He further mentioned that such discussions with international institutions are a regular agenda for Jamkrindo. In the past, Jamkrindo has hosted visits from organizations such as the Credit Guarantee Corporation of Cambodia (CGCC). “In addition to hosting delegations, we also actively participate in international guarantee forums across the Asia-Pacific, Latin America, the Middle East, and beyond,” he said.
Strengthening Ties with ADFIM
The Secretary-General of ADFIM, Mohd Prasad Bin Hanif, expressed gratitude for the warm reception by Jamkrindo. The ADFIM delegation included representatives from organizations such as SME Bank, Bank Pembangunan Malaysia Bhd, Perbadanan Usahawan Nasional Berhad, Takaful, Agro Bank, Bank Rakyat, and Amanah Ikhtiar Malaysia.
