Jakarta – Jamkrindo Celebrates Indonesia’s 79th Independence Day with a Nationalism-Themed Competition at Rawamangun Toll Overpass
In celebration of Indonesia's 79th Independence Day, PT Jamkrindo, in collaboration with Rumah Belajar Pelangi Nusantara (RBPN), hosted a competition with the theme "Semarak Merdeka Anak Nusantara - Bersatu dengan Semangat Tumbuh dalam Kebhinekaan" at the Rawamangun Toll Overpass on Saturday, August 31, 2024.
Aribowo, the Corporate Secretary of Jamkrindo, explained that the event was aimed at spreading the spirit of nationalism while providing valuable experiences for the RBPN students who have been participating in non-formal education under the overpass. “This event is intended to provide meaningful experiences and foster a sense of unity and diversity among the children,” he said in a press release.
In addition to organizing the competition, Jamkrindo also provided educational game packages to support the ongoing non-formal learning conducted by Rumah Belajar Pelangi Nusantara. “We hope this assistance will benefit the children,” Aribowo added.
Aribowo also mentioned that Jamkrindo engaged internal volunteers to take part in the social activities, reflecting the company’s core values of AKHLAK (Amanah, Kompeten, Harmonis, Loyal, Adaptif, and Kolaboratif). The active involvement of Jamkrindo employees in social activities is a tangible manifestation of their commitment to serving the community and the nation.
“With the active participation of Jamkrindo employees in social activities, we hope it will sharpen and motivate them to continue to dedicate themselves and contribute to society and the nation,” said Aribowo. “We strongly support employee involvement in social activities related to the TJSL program, as it helps foster a culture of care for the surrounding environment and stimulates an increase in work productivity.”
The competition was enthusiastically participated by approximately 100 contestants. Some of the games included a bowling ball throw, geometry shape assembly, water game challenges, cone ring toss, balance picture assembly, balance tower building, and a quiz competition.
