Jakarta – PT Jamkrindo Supports the Growth of Indonesia’s Creative Industry
PT Jaminan Kredit Indonesia (Jamkrindo) is playing a crucial role in supporting the growth of micro, small, and medium enterprises (UMKM) in Indonesia through various empowerment and mentoring activities. This time, Jamkrindo is focusing on driving the creative industry by organizing the Kelas Bisnis UMKM 2024, aimed at enhancing the competencies and knowledge of UMKM players.
Aribowo, the Corporate Secretary of Jamkrindo, explained that through its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program, Jamkrindo launched the 2024 Business Class program under the theme ‘Creative Fashionpreneur.’ This program has been running for three months and has involved 30 UMKM participants from the fashion industry, including designers, tailors, and other fashion entrepreneurs.
“Kelas Bisnis UMKM is a concrete manifestation of Jamkrindo’s role in helping UMKM improve their business quality through the enhancement of knowledge and skills,” said Aribowo.
Through the Kelas Bisnis UMKM, Jamkrindo hopes to provide significant support in increasing the competency and success of UMKM players across the country. As a form of appreciation to the participants who have completed the 3-month training, Jamkrindo also hosted a Demo Day fashion show to showcase the works created during the course.
The fashion show, themed "Pesona Nusantara dalam Kreasi UMKM," celebrated the beauty and diversity of Indonesian culture through creative products made by the participants. In addition to the fashion show, the event featured a UMKM Bazaar, a photo exhibition of works from the Creative Fashionpreneur 2024, a charity auction of fashion pieces created by the Kelas Bisnis UMKM group, and live music entertainment by Dudy Oris.
“We hope this event can further inspire fashion entrepreneurs to continue developing their businesses,” Aribowo added.
