Jakarta — In observance of the holy month of Ramadan and in anticipation of its 55th anniversary on July 1, 2025, Indonesia’s state-owned credit guarantee company PT Jamkrindo has launched its annual “Ramadan Safari” initiative across multiple cities. The program includes a range of social outreach efforts such as the distribution of free staple food packages, financial aid for orphans, and donations of prayer essentials to local musalas (prayer rooms).
Akhmad Purwakajaya, President Director of Jamkrindo, said the Ramadan Safari is part of the company’s Corporate Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) initiative.
“This program reflects Jamkrindo’s ongoing commitment to being present for communities in need, in line with this year’s Ramadan theme: ‘Spreading Kindness, Gaining Blessings, Toward Victory,’” Purwakajaya said in an official statement.
“These social initiatives, including food distributions and donations for orphans, have become a regular part of our public service. We hope this assistance brings genuine benefit to the people,” he added.
The 2025 Ramadan Safari is being carried out in ten cities across the archipelago—Serang, Sorong, Palembang, Bandung, Madiun, Banjarmasin, Kupang, Purwokerto, Tanjung Pinang, and Jakarta.
In Sorong, located in Indonesia’s easternmost region, Jamkrindo distributed 200 packages of essential food items, provided aid to 50 orphans, and donated prayer supplies to a local musala. The symbolic handover was carried out by Jamkrindo’s Director of Institutional and Service Affairs, Abdul Bari, and received by Ismail Agia, Chairman of the Emeyodere Foundation.
On a national scale, Jamkrindo has distributed a total of 6,000 food packages, extended assistance to 386 orphans, and provided prayer equipment to 11 musalas.
“May this Ramadan Safari deepen our collective sense of gratitude, strengthen the bonds among us, and bring about blessings that are meaningful and widely shared,” said Purwakajaya.
Ismail Agia of the Emeyodere Foundation expressed his appreciation to the company. “We are deeply thankful to Jamkrindo for their generous support. May the company continue to grow and contribute to the improvement of social welfare,” he said.
