Jakarta — As part of its observance of the holy month of Ramadan and in celebration of its upcoming 55th anniversary on July 1, 2025, PT Jaminan Kredit Indonesia (Jamkrindo) has launched its annual Safari Ramadan campaign across various regions of Indonesia. The program features a series of social initiatives, including the distribution of free food packages, financial support for orphans, and donations of prayer supplies and equipment to local musalas (small prayer halls).
President Director Akhmad Purwakajaya emphasized that, as a member of the Indonesia Financial Group (IFG), Jamkrindo remains committed to uplifting communities through its Corporate Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) programs.
“These efforts reflect Jamkrindo’s enduring commitment to being present and engaged within society,” Purwakajaya stated. “This year’s Ramadan theme, ‘Spreading Kindness, Reaping Blessings on the Path to Victory’, underscores our shared values and aspirations.”
“The distribution of staple food packages and assistance to orphans is a long-standing tradition and a testament to our dedication to social responsibility. We hope these efforts bring real benefits to those in need,” he added in a public statement.
This year’s Safari Ramadan spans ten cities, including Serang, Sorong, Palembang, Bandung, Madiun, Banjarmasin, Kupang, Purwokerto, Tanjung Pinang, and Jakarta.
In Bandung, Jamkrindo distributed 224 food packages, offered aid to 20 orphans, and provided worship equipment to a local musala. The donations were symbolically presented by Director of Finance and Investment Alia Nur Fitri to Dhuafa Al-Mu’Minun Orphanage.
On a national scale, Jamkrindo delivered 6,000 food packages, supported 386 orphaned children, and donated prayer equipment to 11 musalas.
“May this Safari Ramadan deepen our sense of gratitude and further strengthen the bonds of togetherness, becoming a source of blessings and goodwill that benefits us all,” said Purwakajaya.
Asep Dani, Chairman of the Dhuafa Al-Mu’Minun Orphanage, expressed his heartfelt thanks for the assistance. “We are sincerely grateful to Jamkrindo. May the company continue to flourish and contribute meaningfully to the welfare of our communities,” he said.
