Jakarta — In observance of Ramadan and as part of its lead-up to the company’s 55th anniversary on July 1, 2025, PT Jaminan Kredit Indonesia (Jamkrindo) has carried out a series of Safari Ramadan events across multiple regions. These outreach efforts included the distribution of free basic food packages, financial assistance to orphans, and donations of religious supplies to local musalas.
President Director Akhmad Purwakajaya affirmed that Jamkrindo, as a member of the Indonesia Financial Group (IFG), remains committed to serving the public through the company’s Corporate Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) initiatives.
“These activities are a reflection of our deep commitment to being present within the communities we serve,” said Purwakajaya. “This year’s Ramadan theme, ‘Spreading Kindness, Reaping Blessings Toward Victory’, underscores our mission to create meaningful impact.”
“The distribution of food packages and support for orphans is a tradition we uphold as an expression of our social conscience,” he added in an official statement. “We hope this aid brings tangible benefits to the people.”
This year’s Safari Ramadan was held across ten Jamkrindo offices throughout Indonesia, including Serang, Sorong, Palembang, Bandung, Madiun, Banjarmasin, Kupang, Yogyakarta, Tanjung Pinang, and Jakarta.
In Yogyakarta, Jamkrindo distributed 210 free food packages, extended aid to 60 children at the Lowanu Orphanage, and donated prayer items to Musala Al Barokah. The symbolic handover was conducted by President Director Akhmad Purwakajaya alongside Operational and Network Director Suwarsito on Monday, March 17, 2025.
Nationally, the company distributed 6,000 food packages, assisted 386 orphans, and donated religious supplies to 10 musalas.
“May this Safari Ramadan strengthen our sense of gratitude, enhance our unity, and serve as a wellspring of blessings for everyone,” said Purwakajaya.
Tri Haryanto, Chairman of Lowanu Orphanage, expressed his heartfelt appreciation. “We are grateful to Jamkrindo for the generous support. May the company continue to thrive and play a vital role in advancing the welfare of our community,” he said.
