Jakarta — In the spirit of Ramadan and as part of its upcoming 55th anniversary celebration on July 1, 2025, PT Jaminan Kredit Indonesia (Jamkrindo) has rolled out its Safari Ramadan program across several regions of Indonesia. The initiative encompasses a series of social outreach activities, including the distribution of free food packages, donations for orphans, and the provision of prayer essentials to local musalas (small prayer houses).
Akhmad Purwakajaya, President Director of Jamkrindo, stated that as a member of the Indonesia Financial Group (IFG), the company remains steadfast in its mission to uplift communities through its corporate social and environmental responsibility program (TJSL).
“These efforts are a reflection of our commitment to being present for the people,” he said. “Our theme this year, ‘Spreading Kindness, Embracing Blessings Toward Victory’, guides the values behind every contribution we make during this holy month.”
“Our social efforts—such as distributing food packages and supporting orphans—are not one-time gestures. They are part of our ongoing responsibility to society,” Purwakajaya said in a press release.
The Safari Ramadan activities are being conducted through 10 Jamkrindo work units across Indonesia, including Serang, Sorong, Palembang, Bandung, Madiun, Banjarmasin, Kupang, Yogyakarta, Tanjung Pinang, and Jakarta.
In Kupang, Jamkrindo distributed 100 food packages, extended support to 50 orphaned children, and provided prayer items to At-Taqwa Mosque. The donations were symbolically handed over by Abdul Bari, Director of Institutional Relations and Services, to representatives of the Hidayatullah Islamic Boarding School and Orphanage, as well as to the mosque’s board on March 18, 2025.
Nationally, Jamkrindo delivered 6,000 food packages, supported 386 orphans, and donated worship equipment to 10 musalas throughout the country.
“May this Safari Ramadan inspire deeper gratitude in us all,” said Purwakajaya, “while strengthening the bonds of togetherness and bringing blessings that benefit not just individuals but entire communities.”
Ustad Mamang, Chair of the Hidayatullah Islamic Boarding School and Orphanage, expressed heartfelt appreciation for the assistance. “We thank Jamkrindo for their generous support. May the company continue to thrive and play a greater role in advancing public welfare,” he said.
