APEC Unthinkable Week 2013

Denpasar – To enliven the APEC Summit in Bali, the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs organized the “Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Unthinkable Week 2013” as a platform for socializing and promoting the implementation of the Young Entrepreneurship Development Program on October 2–5, 2013, in Kuta, Bali.

Through this event, the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs aims to advance entrepreneurship and develop human resources, particularly for entrepreneurs. APEC Unthinkable Week was organized to capitalize on the diverse and sizable participation in the series of international APEC 2013 events, encouraging Indonesian entrepreneurs to enhance their skills and creativity in business.

At the APEC Unthinkable Week 2013 exhibition, Perum Jamkrindo participated by showcasing several of its supported partners from the Denpasar branch, including Balinese woven songket textiles and souvenirs/wood carvings from Bali.

Currently, the Denpasar branch of Perum Jamkrindo has 24 supported partners, with 99% operating in the trade sector and the remainder in the services and industrial sectors, with a total loan or credit ceiling of Rp1,845,000,000. Additionally, the community empowerment program had reached a total of Rp137,944,919 as of September 2013.

It is expected that the successful execution of APEC Unthinkable Week 2013 in Bali will promote and enliven the development of national entrepreneurship, as well as encourage young Indonesian entrepreneurs to learn from and collaborate with entrepreneurs from APEC member countries.
