On Thursday, October 9, 2014, Perum Jamkrindo signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Jakarta State University (Universitas Negeri Jakarta) regarding the Program for Strengthening Research, Scientific Publications, and Community Service for Lecturers and Students of Jakarta State University. This initiative aims to support the role of state-owned enterprises (BUMN) in enhancing national innovation and competitiveness.
The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed by the President Director of Perum Jamkrindo, Diding S. Anwar, and the Rector of Jakarta State University, Prof. Dr. Djaali.
The MoU serves as the foundation for implementing cooperation in accordance with the agreed scope of collaboration. The objective is to mutually support research activities, scientific publications, and community service based on the principle of mutually beneficial cooperation.
The MoU is intended as the basis for implementing programs within the agreed scope of cooperation. The scope of the MoU includes:
1. **Enhancing Lecturers' Ability to Develop Research Proposals;**
2. **Improving Lecturers' Knowledge in Research Methodology;**
3. **Conducting Research**, including studies, analysis, model development, and comparative research on Micro, Small, Medium Enterprises, and Cooperatives (UMKMK);
4. **Organizing National and International Seminars;**
5. **Publishing Scientific Articles in International Journals;**
6. **Acquiring Intellectual Property Rights;**
7. **Mentoring and Coaching UMKMK** by Lecturers and Students of Jakarta State University;
8. **Implementing Internship Programs** for Jakarta State University Students at Perum Jamkrindo.
The implementation of the cooperation will be followed up by officials from both parties (Directors/Division Heads/Vice Rectors/Deans/Heads of Bureaus/Heads of Institutions/Heads of Technical Implementation Units) in accordance with their respective functions and responsibilities related to the subject of cooperation. This will be formalized in a separate Cooperation Agreement.
