The Head of Perum Jamkrindo Makassar Branch, Untung Hery S., conducted a roadshow in his work area to socialize the People's Kupedes Guarantee at BRI offices, which are one of Perum Jamkrindo's business partners.
As of Tuesday (10/2/2015), Untung went to Masamba and conducted socialization at BRI Masamba from 14:00 to 16:00, which was attended by the Head of BRI Masamba Branch, Bari Indro Pratomo, unit heads, staff, and the BRI micro division. It continued in the evening from 19:30 to 22:00 at BRI Palopo Branch, which was also attended by the Head of BRI Palopo Branch, Muh. Zulham Salahuddin, along with 56 team members. And this afternoon Untung continued his socialization at BRI Takalar Branch.
Kupedes Rakyat is a new credit program replacing KUR with adjustments/relaxation according to customer needs, especially BRI. Perum Jamkrindo, as the only state-owned credit guarantee institution in Indonesia and also the guarantor of KUR, signed a cooperation agreement (PKS) with BRI for the guarantee of Kupedes Rakyat, and accommodated micro credit requests for the development of UMKM in Indonesia that are feasible but not bankable, especially in the work area of Jamkrindo Makassar Branch. KUR, which so far only had a loan limit of Rp20 million, whereas Kupedes Rakyat loans go up to Rp25 million.
When asked for his response, Untung said his party is committed to supporting work partners for people's credit lending.
"We continue to strive to provide service, especially for Kupedes Rakyat which began being socialized today," he said. According to him, they chose BRI because BRI's network is quite extensive as it reaches rural areas, so it is expected that Jamkrindo's program can reach small and medium enterprises even in rural areas.
"We are ready to serve customers for the development of small and medium enterprises," he concluded.
