Jakarta - To answer legal certainty and empowerment means for Micro and Small Business Actors (PUMK) in building and developing their business. PT BRI Tbk with three ministries, namely the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Ministry of Trade, the Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs and the Indonesian Guarantee Companies Association (Asippindo) conducted the launching of the Micro and Small Business License Card (IUMK) at the KUD Dampit Hall, Malang Regency, East Java (Jatim) Saturday, last week.
On that occasion, simultaneously was conducted the launching of KUD Dampit as Distributor of Subsidized Fertilizer, Facilitation Assistance for the Making of the Deed of Establishment of a Cooperative and Opening of Entrepreneurship Training for prospective Beginner Entrepreneurs.
With the IUMK having been launched, subsequently the Micro and Small Business Actors (PUMK) will get accompaniment for new business, get access to financing to bank and non-bank financial institutions, get ease in obtaining empowerment efforts from the government or other institutions, and protection for their business.
Furthermore, Asippindo together with members spread throughout almost the entire region of Indonesia, is ready to provide guarantees for PUMK that have received IUMK issued by BRI at every sub-district office in order to obtain credit that will be distributed by the banks.
The signing of that memorandum of understanding is part of the Implementation of Law Number 20 of 2008 concerning Small, Micro and Medium Enterprises, Presidential Regulation No.98 of 2014 concerning Licensing for Micro and Small Enterprises and Ministry of Home Affairs Regulation No. 83 of 2015 regarding Guidelines for the Granting of Micro and Small Business Licenses.
It can be conveyed that the members of Asippindo consist of 18 guarantee companies, namely Perum Jamkrindo, PT Penjaminan Jamkrindo Syariah, PT PKPI, PT UAF Jaminan Kredit, PT Jamkrida Jabar, PT Jamkrida Jatim, PT Jamkrida Banten, PT Jamkrida Sumsel, PT Jamkrida Riau, PT Jamkrida Sumbar, PT Jamkrida Babel, PT Jamkrida Bali Mandara, PT Jamkrida NTT, PT Jamkrida NTB, PT Jamkrida Kaltim, PT Jamkrida Kalteng, PT Jamkrida Kalsel, PT Jamkrida Papua.
Where in this cooperation Asippindo through Asippindo members will play a role in providing guarantees on the credit distributed by the banks to the PUMK who have received the IUMK card.
The launch of the issuance of the IUMK card was previously carried out in Denpasar, Bali, precisely at the West Denpasar Sub-district Office which was attended by the UMKM actors in West Denpasar, Bali, BRI, the Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs and Asippindo.
