Jakarta | The Indonesian Credit Guarantee Public Corporation (Perum Jamkrindo) together with PT. Mandiri Tunas Finance (MTF) signed a Cooperation Agreement (PKS) on Four-Wheeled Motor Vehicle Financing.
The signing of the PKS took place on the 1st floor of the Perum Jamkrindo Building in Kemayoran, Jakarta, on Wednesday (11/02/2016) afternoon. It was stated that this strategic partnership was established to expand access and financial services in the leasing credit sector for the public, particularly in motor vehicle financing.
"This partnership cooperation is highly strategic and aims to further improve the performance of each stakeholder, both in terms of increasing the realization of Credit/Financing together with PT. Mandiri Tunas Finance as well as boosting the Guarantee volume by Perum Jamkrindo," said Perum Jamkrindo's Director of Guarantee Business, Bakti Prasetyo, during the PKS signing event.
The signing was conducted by Perum Jamkrindo's Director of Guarantee Business, Bakti Prasetyo, and PT. Mandiri Tunas Finance's Director, Ade Cahyo Nugroho. Present to witness the signing of the MoU from Perum Jamkrindo were the Director of Finance, Investment, and Risk Management, I Rusdonobanu, as well as the Director of Operations and Networks, R Sophia Alizsa.
The President Director of PT. Mandiri Tunas Finance, Suwandi Suratno, promised to carry out this PKS cooperation properly. He hoped that Perum Jamkrindo could also maximize the partnership, particularly in terms of ease and smoothness of claim payments.
Both institutions share the same vision of providing opportunities for people who have not yet been able to access capital sources to obtain financing.
Another objective of this cooperation is to enhance synergy between the two non-bank financial institutions and to support the smooth operation of both companies' business activities.
In 2015, Perum Jamkrindo was in a strategic position, growing in line with the company's equity and asset growth. Perum Jamkrindo recorded a pre-tax profit of Rp780.179 billion by the end of December 2015.
The company's total assets as of December 31, 2015, amounted to Rp11.388 trillion. This value increased compared to the assets recorded at the end of 2014, which were Rp10.02 trillion (year-on-year). Meanwhile, equity was recorded at Rp9.267 trillion, up from Rp8.417 trillion as of December 31, 2014.
To improve service to its business partners, Perum Jamkrindo has established a service network throughout Indonesia. To date, Jamkrindo has a total of 55 branch offices and 10 service unit offices.
Meanwhile, CSUl Finance claimed in its unaudited report that the company's profit increased from Rp41 billion to Rp88 billion. (team)
