Jakarta | In the first month of 2016, Perum Jamkrindo's credit guarantee business is still in the warming-up phase, including the People's Business Credit (KUR) program, which started earlier this year.
Jamkrindo Director Bakti Prasetyo stated that as of January, the company had guaranteed credit amounting to Rp 7.2 trillion. This amount is only about 6% of the total credit volume targeted for guarantees this year.
By the end of this year, Jamkrindo's credit guarantee volume target is set to reach Rp 115 trillion.
Of the total credit guaranteed last year, Bakti said that around 33.8% was KUR credit. "In January, the KUR we guaranteed was Rp 2.44 trillion," said Bakti on Wednesday (24/2).
For 2016, he mentioned that the KUR program is running faster than in previous years. By the end of December, Jamkrindo's target volume for guaranteed KUR is expected to reach Rp 50 trillion. (Source: kontan.co.id)
