Jakarta | There was a different atmosphere on Friday morning (11/03/2016) in the parking lot of Perum Jamkrindo Kemayoran, Jakarta. The board of directors and all employees of Perum Jamkrindo enthusiastically chanted slogans and were entertained by live acoustic guitar music. Snacks and breakfast were provided by the committee to complement the coffee morning event, which was intentionally organized as a routine gathering.
"We want coffee mornings like this to be held regularly to maintain harmony and unity among all employees," said Perum Jamkrindo’s President Director, Diding S. Anwar, as he opened the event.
Diding further explained that events like this also serve to foster relationships, embrace all employees through the workers' union, and open communication channels between the board of directors and all employees in the company.
Coffee Morning, Diding continued, is essential to boosting the performance of Perum Jamkrindo’s employees. Human Resources (HR) at Jamkrindo is a crucial asset that cannot be separated from the company’s business. A strong workforce is built in an atmosphere that is relaxed, comfortable, yet responsive, ready to work, and quick to take action in carrying out their duties.
"Jamkrindo is not done. In fact, it is just beginning. There is the Guarantee Law and warehouse receipts that we must accelerate in implementation. We need skilled human resources to seize such a massive business potential," Diding said passionately.
Creating a conducive environment that strengthens Jamkrindo’s workforce is everyone’s responsibility. This includes fostering synergy through the link-and-match program among employees. "There should no longer be divisions between old and new employees. Everyone complements each other to achieve common goals," said the former President Director of Jasa Raharja.
Perum Jamkrindo’s Director of HR, General Affairs, and Compliance, Nanang Waskito, welcomed the initiative of the President Director. He has already prepared various programs to enhance the human resources of Perum Jamkrindo in anticipation of significant future business opportunities.
One of these initiatives includes adding hundreds of new employees and upgrading Jamkrindo’s service portal to engage MSMEs, business partners, and the public through marketing campaigns on social media. "We want an application for partners to address all their inquiries, including product guarantee consultations and business advisory services. We want to move fast," he said.
Echoing this sentiment, Perum Jamkrindo’s Director of Operations and Network, RR Alizsa Sophia, emphasized that all divisions across the company must support each other to navigate the significant business challenges ahead. "We need to cut through the lengthy and complicated internal and external service processes," said Sophia.
One way to achieve this, she continued, is by implementing digital systems across all areas, including expediting the execution of e-office or office automation, which is set to be fully operational by June 2016 at the latest. (team)
