SEMARANG | Perum Jaminan Kredit Indonesia (Perum Jamkrindo) fully supports the Jaring (Jangkau, Sinergi, dan Guideline) program initiated by the Financial Services Authority (OJK) and the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries (KKP).
This program aims to realize one of the government's initiatives, primarily focusing on advancing maritime development through financing in the marine and fisheries sector.
Perum Jamkrindo President Director Diding S. Anwar stated that Jamkrindo is tasked with assisting and developing micro, small, and medium enterprises and cooperatives (UMKMK) in accessing banking capital.
"Jamkrindo supports financing access through guarantees, especially in the maritime sector, which has become a prime focus," he said.
He explained that the Jaring program aims to address stakeholder needs for information regarding the marine and fisheries database, financing schemes, business risk mapping, and regulatory support from relevant authorities.
"The main goal of the Jaring Program is to increase financing growth in the marine and fisheries sector (KP), targeting a higher financing growth rate than the previous year," he stated.
He mentioned that Perum Jamkrindo, through the Indonesian Credit Guarantee Companies Association (Asippindo), has collaborated with the Indonesian Financial Services Association (APPI) by signing an MoU on financing guarantees oriented towards exports and the creative economy, including exports in the marine and fisheries sector.
Perum Jamkrindo's Business Guarantee Director, Bakti Prasetyo, added that with Jamkrindo's guarantees, banks would be more confident in extending credit to MSMEs, including fishermen.
"There is a lot of potential to develop in the fisheries sector because of its vast opportunities," he said.
In addition to the main guarantee program, the People's Business Credit (KUR), Perum Jamkrindo also offers various other guarantee products, including General Credit Guarantee, Micro Credit Guarantee, Mortgage Credit Guarantee, Construction and Procurement Credit Guarantee, Surety Bond, and Customs Bond.
Perum Jamkrindo also collaborates with financing companies in mortgage financing, factoring, automotive financing, and more.
"Perum Jamkrindo's responsibilities have expanded with the issuance of Government Regulation No. 1 of 2016, which designates Perum Jamkrindo as the Implementing Institution for the Warehouse Receipt System Guarantee.
