TERNATE - The value of the People's Business Credit (KUR) guarantee in North Maluku, guaranteed by Perum Jamkrindo Ternate Branch Office, has reached IDR 81.8 billion.
"KUR credit has a guarantee. And as a guarantor institution, we guarantee 70 percent of KUR in case of bad credit," said the Head of Jamkrindo Ternate Branch Business Guarantee, Syamsul Ma'arif.
He explained that as of August 31, 2016, the amount of KUR credit at BRI Bank guaranteed by Jamkrindo was IDR 74.5 billion. This came from 3,160 MSME debtors. BNI Bank amounted to IDR 29.2 billion from 129 MSME debtors.
Bank Mandiri amounted to IDR 13 billion from 328 MSME debtors. Of this total credit amount, he said, Perum Jamkrindo guarantees 70 percent, and the KUR distributing bank covers 30 percent.
The total KUR guarantee value in North Maluku is IDR 81.8 billion. This consists of the KUR guarantee value from BRI of IDR 52.1 billion.
Meanwhile, the KUR guarantee value from BNI is IDR 20.5 billion. The KUR guarantee value from Bank Mandiri is IDR 9.1 billion.
He stated that as of August 2016, there were 26 KUR debtors from BRI who filed claims amounting to IDR 535 million.
