JAKARTA I In order to support financial inclusion, the Mobile Guarantee Service of Perusahaan Umum Jaminan Kredit Indonesia (Perum Jamkrindo) is ready to serve micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). This was demonstrated by the presence of the mobile guarantee service at Car Free Day (CFD) in Jakarta on Sunday (16/10/2016).

People exercising in the morning around the HI Roundabout, the heart of Jakarta’s capital, showed great enthusiasm in asking officers about MSME guarantees.

With the presence of this mobile guarantee service, the guarantee process will be significantly faster, with the target of credit approval within hours.

Previously, Perum Jamkrindo’s President Director, Diding S. Anwar, stated that this mobile service would reach remote areas that have not yet been served.

“This mobile guarantee service is our effort to proactively reach regions, including rural areas,” said Diding during the launch of the mobile service last April.

A total of 35 Jamkrindo mobile service units will operate in areas where Jamkrindo does not yet have branch offices. This way, people in those areas who have not received Jamkrindo’s services will now have better access.

This initiative also supports the government's Financial Inclusion Movement (GeraiKu) as established by the Financial Services Authority (OJK), involving all financial service institutions. The goal is to introduce various financial products and services available in the financial industry and encourage increased public access to finance through coordinated financial actions by regulators, associations, financial service institutions, as well as various ministries and relevant agencies.
