Jakarta – At the beginning of 2016, Perum Jamkrindo aggressively pursued growth with a roadmap focused on strengthening competitiveness to enhance company performance and competence. This effort aimed to position Jamkrindo as a leading guarantee institution supporting national economic development, aligning with the company's vision, mission, and corporate values outlined in the 2016 Work Plan and Budget (RKAP).
In a press statement, Perum Jamkrindo’s President Director, Diding S. Anwar, emphasized the company’s commitment to improving performance and competence to remain competitive and become a reliable and prominent guarantee institution contributing to national economic growth.
"The company's performance this year has progressed well and has shown a significant increase compared to last year," said Diding.
From a business perspective, the management successfully recorded strong financial performance. As of December 22, 2016, the total guaranteed credit amounted to IDR 113.91 trillion, reaching 99.05% of the annual target of IDR 115 trillion. The largest portion, IDR 68.218 trillion (104.95%), came from Non-KUR guarantees, while the remaining IDR 45.689 trillion came from KUR guarantees.
On a consolidated basis, the total guaranteed credit as of December 22, 2016, reached IDR 122 trillion, marking a 90.08% increase compared to IDR 59.8 trillion in the same period last year. Total assets also grew to approximately IDR 13 trillion, with equity increasing to around IDR 10 trillion.
Heading into 2017, Perum Jamkrindo proposed to its shareholder (the Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises) a guarantee volume target of IDR 145 trillion. Non-KUR guarantees were projected to remain the primary contributor, with an estimated IDR 96 trillion from Non-KUR guarantees and IDR 50 trillion from KUR guarantees. The consolidated guarantee volume target for 2017 was set at IDR 156 trillion.
Jamkrindo’s strategic initiatives for 2017 include: Managing the SME rating database, Providing mentoring and management consulting for SMEs in collaboration with universities (as established with seven universities on November 29), Conducting SME rating assessments with business partners, Expanding its role as the implementing agency for the Warehouse Receipt Guarantee System (SRG), as mandated by Government, Regulation No. 1/2016, to enhance farmer welfare and contribute to national food security,, Increasing the number of mobile guarantee service units across all Jamkrindo operational units.
