JAKARTA – Dozens of Perum Jamkrindo employees participated in the Fun Walk event at Car Free Day (CFD) Jakarta on Sunday, January 15, 2016. The event, held as part of the company's outreach program, was attended by representatives from each division and led by Acting Corporate Secretary Abdul Bari.
The event kicked off with a gathering at Plaza UOB, where Perum Jamkrindo’s Mobile Guarantee Service Vehicle was stationed. This vehicle was available to serve micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) seeking credit guarantees or those simply looking to learn more about Jamkrindo.
"This Fun Walk is part of our corporate outreach program to increase public awareness about Perum Jamkrindo as the only state-owned enterprise (BUMN) specializing in credit guarantees," said Abdul Bari.
At around 7:00 AM, the Jamkrindo team walked from Bundaran Plaza UOB to Bundaran Patung Kuda, before returning to the starting point. Similar outreach activities at Car Free Day have been conducted before, always attracting public interest in learning about MSME guarantees provided by Jamkrindo.
Perum Jamkrindo’s President Director, Diding S. Anwar, emphasized the importance of mobile guarantee services, which aim to reach underserved areas.
"Our mobile guarantee service is a proactive initiative to extend our services to rural areas," said Diding. Launched in April of the previous year, these 35 mobile service vehicles will operate in regions where Jamkrindo does not yet have branch offices, ensuring wider access to financial guarantees.
This initiative also supports the Financial Inclusion Movement (GeraiKu) launched by the Financial Services Authority (OJK), in collaboration with various financial institutions and government agencies. The program aims to introduce diverse financial products and services while improving public access to financial solutions.
Through this event, Perum Jamkrindo reaffirms its commitment to empowering MSMEs and supporting government efforts to enhance financial inclusion across Indonesia.
