2011, State-Owned Banks' KUR Disbursement Target Increases by 20-30%

JAKARTA – The Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) has set a higher target for the disbursement of People’s Business Credit (KUR) in 2011. Among the seven state-owned banks distributing KUR, the average increase is expected to be around 20-30%.

"For BNI, the KUR disbursement target in 2010 was Rp1.6 billion, and in 2011, it is projected to increase by approximately 153% to Rp2.5 billion. Meanwhile, BRI’s target will rise by 101% to Rp10 billion in 2011, up from the previous target of Rp8.6 billion," stated Minister of SOEs Mustafa Abubakar during the 2011 BUMN Outlook presentation last weekend.

Furthermore:

  • Bank Mandiri is expected to experience a 142% increase to Rp3 billion, compared to Rp1.84 billion last year.
  • Bank Bukopin is projected to see a 142% increase, from Rp200 million to Rp350 million in 2011.
  • Bank Syariah Mandiri (BSM) will also see a 132% increase, from Rp450 million to Rp600 million in 2011.

Additionally, the 13 Regional Development Banks (BPDs) are also expected to see a 124% increase in KUR disbursement, with the target rising from Rp2 billion in 2010 to Rp2.75 billion in 2011(ade)
