Perum Jamkrindo Distributes Qurbani Meat to the Surrounding Community
The large family of Perusahaan Umum Jaminan Kredit Indonesia (Perum Jamkrindo), along with its subsidiaries, celebrated the Eid al-Adha 1438 H/2017 holiday with great reverence. The ritual slaughter of sacrificial animals was carried out with joy and solemnity in the parking lot of the Perum Jamkrindo building in Kemayoran, Jakarta, on Monday morning (September 4).
A total of around 15 sacrificial animals were gathered, consisting of 9 cows and 6 goats, donated by all levels of the company, from the board of directors, divisions, subsidiaries, to the employee cooperative. Each portion of the meat, weighing 2 kg, was distributed to the surrounding community of Kemayoran.
Before the animals were slaughtered, the sacrificial animals were symbolically handed over by the Director of Operations and Network, R. Sophia Alizsa, to the Qurbani committee, represented by Rian Widipratomo. Also present at the event were the President Director of Perum Jamkrindo, Diding S. Anwar, and other members of the board of directors, including the Director of Finance, Investment, and Risk Management, I. Rusdonobanu, as well as the Directors of PT Jamkrindo Syariah.
In her speech, R. Sophia Alizsa mentioned that this activity, aside from being an annual routine, also reflects Perum Jamkrindo’s care and concern for the people of the Kemayoran community by distributing around 1,300 qurbani meat packages.
“Alhamdulillah, Perum Jamkrindo is able to share with fellow Perum Jamkrindo employees and the surrounding community,” she said.
Sophia further stated that this celebration should be understood as a spirit of sharing and sacrificing, as reflected in the theme “Sharing Qurbani, Sharing Happiness Together with Perum Jamkrindo.”
“We hope that the example of Prophet Ibrahim’s obedience and Prophet Ismail’s righteousness can be emulated by all employees and the entire extended family of Perum Jamkrindo,” she added.
