Perum Jamkrindo Reports a Profit of IDR 1 Trillion

JAKARTA - The President Director of Perusahaan Umum (Perum) Jaminan Kredit Indonesia, Randi Anto, announced that the company achieved a profit of IDR 1.02 trillion in 2017, marking an increase from the previous year's profit of IDR 941.4 billion. The company's assets also grew from IDR 13.4 trillion in 2016 to IDR 14.6 trillion in 2017.

Perum Jamkrindo also received an Unqualified Opinion (WTP) for its 2017 financial statements, based on an audit conducted by the Public Accounting Firm Hertanto, Grace, Karunawan (HGK), a member of TIAG, which was published on Wednesday (28/2/2018).

In terms of Good Corporate Governance (GCG) implementation, Perum Jamkrindo, under Randi Anto's leadership, achieved a very good qualification. According to PEFINDO (Credit Rating Agency), Perum Jamkrindo was also assigned an AA Plus (Double A Plus, Stable Outlook) rating.

Perum Jamkrindo continues to uphold its company vision to be the leading credit guarantee company that supports national economic development. As the only state-owned enterprise (BUMN) mandated by the government to engage in the guarantee business, Perum Jamkrindo successfully recorded guarantee volumes of IDR 98.10 trillion for Non-KUR and IDR 50.47 trillion for KUR in 2017, with a total of 2,843,836 UMKM guaranteed under Non-KUR and 2,227,784 UMKM under KUR.

In 2018, Perum Jamkrindo continues to improve its efficiency and effectiveness in responding to increasing business challenges. The company emphasizes the need for all stakeholders to better execute the business, without abandoning its core competency in the UMKMK sector.

"For that, Perum Jamkrindo’s staff must evolve by prioritizing efficiency, productivity, and prudence in identifying business risks. We must also be able to develop by broadening our perspectives in running company activities, whether related to government assignments, other guarantee businesses, or through creativity and innovation," said Randi.

Randi emphasized the need for solid coordination and effective communication between the board of directors, management, regional offices, branch offices, and service unit offices across Indonesia to align strategies, create strong synergies, and achieve targets, both financial and in advancing UMKM to higher levels.

He urged all employees at Jamkrindo to commit to achieving the company's targets according to their roles and responsibilities, always adhering to the principles of GCG. "I say, let’s move forward for Jamkrindo. Let’s Change and Grow,” he affirmed.

Since its establishment on July 1, 1970, Perum Jamkrindo has grown and developed into the locomotive of the credit guarantee industry in Indonesia, with an extensive network of 9 regional offices, 1 special branch office, 56 branch offices, and 16 service unit offices (KUP). Perum Jamkrindo demonstrates a strong commitment to assisting UMKMK throughout Indonesia by providing guarantees to mitigate financial failure risks for business owners.
