Jakarta - Perum Jamkrindo has received an award for its annual report in a prestigious competition, The 3rd PR INDONESIA AWARDS (PRIA). This event is an appreciation of outstanding public relations (PR) work from corporations, ministries, institutions, and local governments across Indonesia.
The award ceremony took place during the evening event of The 3rd PR INDONESIA AWARDS, which was attended by the Corporate Secretary Abdul Bari and the Head of the Regional Office VI Surabaya, Loesdarwanto, in Surabaya on Thursday, March 29, 2018.
Perum Jamkrindo’s President Director, Randi Anto, expressed his gratitude for the recognition, highlighting it as a testament to the company's adherence to Good Corporate Governance (GCG) principles in Indonesia, through transparency and GCG practices applied in its financial reporting.
“Perum Jamkrindo will continue to grow and improve its performance to meet the expectations of its stakeholders,” said Randi Anto.
He also emphasized the vital role of PR or the company spokesperson, who not only serves as the company's voice but must also build strong relationships with all parties involved.
“PR must understand what the public and the company need and expect,” Randi explained.
The 3rd PRIA award reflects the highest achievement in corporate communication performance for 2017. As the most comprehensive PR competition in Indonesia since 2016, PRIA has become a barometer for communication performance that all corporations and organizations should follow.
In addition to this prestigious award, Perum Jamkrindo also reported a profit of Rp 1.02 trillion in 2017, up from Rp 941.4 billion the previous year. The company’s assets grew from Rp 13.4 trillion in 2016 to Rp 14.6 trillion in 2017.
Furthermore, Perum Jamkrindo received an Unqualified Opinion (WTP) for its 2017 financial report, as audited by Public Accounting Firm Hertanto, Grace, Karunawan (HGK), a member of TIAG, published on Wednesday (28/2/2018).
In terms of Good Corporate Governance, under the leadership of President Director Randi Anto, Perum Jamkrindo earned a very good qualification. This was confirmed by the PEFINDO certification (Credit Rating Agency), with an AA Plus (Double A Plus, Stable Outlook) rating.
In 2018, Perum Jamkrindo continues to improve, focusing on efficiency and effectiveness to face increasingly bigger business challenges, ensuring readiness from all aspects within the company to perform even better, without neglecting its core competency in the UMKMK sector. (Public Relations)
