JAKARTA - Perum Jamkrindo has been awarded for its innovative marketing activities, earning the Silver Winner award in the category of Promising Company In Marketing 3.0 at the prestigious Marketeers Awards 2018.

Abdul Bari, the Corporate Secretary of Perum Jamkrindo, attended the ceremony on behalf of the company's President Director, Randi Anto. The award was presented by Ahmad Bambang, Deputy for Construction, Infrastructure, and Facilities at the Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises, and was witnessed by Ahmad Reza, Chairman of the State-Owned Enterprises Public Relations Forum, and marketing expert Hermawan Kartajaya.

At the event held at the Grand Atrium Kota Kasablanka on May 2, 2018, Abdul Bari stated that Jamkrindo will continue to implement effective marketing strategies in managing its products, brands, and customers. "With the right and effective marketing strategies, we will achieve better results for the company," he said.

The Marketers Awards event was initiated by the BUMN Public Relations Forum in collaboration with Markplus, Inc., and supported by the Indonesia Marketing Association and The Jakarta CMO Club.

This prestigious award aims to recognize state-owned enterprises (BUMN) and their subsidiaries for their effective marketing strategies in managing products, brands, and customers.

A total of 115 BUMNs and their subsidiaries were invited to participate in the 2018 BUMN Marketing Awards, with 62 attending the competition's socialization, eventually narrowing down to 42 BUMNs and subsidiaries that went through the judging process. In total, 69 awards were given out across various categories.

The BUMN Marketeers Awards 2018 selection process took place from January to April 2018. The jury consisted of professionals who evaluated the effectiveness of marketing strategies in managing products, brands, and customers. The implementation of sales tactics, services, and branding campaigns was also recognized, as these were directly experienced by customers. In addition to profitability, extra points were given to BUMNs and subsidiaries that benefited society, both socially and environmentally. Recognition was also given to individuals who played a significant role in the marketing strategies and tactics executed by these BUMNs.

The main assessment categories included Strategic, Tactical, Marketing 4.0, and Branding Campaign, along with the CMO of the Year 2018 award. The winners in the Gold category, as well as the Best of the Best and CMO of the Year recipients, were awarded the Satyardaya Trophy, which symbolizes "Service with Conscience." This highlights the expectation that, while BUMNs aim to generate profits for their companies, they should also uphold their duty to serve the nation.

The initial selection process included report reviews, passing grade determinations, and finalizing the finalists, all of which took place in April 2018. After the finalists were determined, the judging process was conducted by jurors from managerial levels to identify the Top BUMNs and their subsidiaries. (HUMAS)
