Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) Rini M. Soemarno Sends Off Travelers Participating in the "Mudik Bareng BUMN 2018" Program in Ancol, Saturday (June 9, 2018).
The "Mudik Bareng BUMN" program, held for the fourth time by the Ministry of BUMN, involves 62 BUMNs with 177 destinations across both western and eastern Indonesia. Perum Jamkrindo is one of the BUMNs participating in this Mudik program, sending off 1,300 travelers.
Rini mentioned that the 2018 Mudik Bareng BUMN program is a manifestation of BUMN synergy in serving the public. The goal of Mudik Bareng BUMN is to reduce the use of motorcycles by encouraging safer modes of transportation, such as buses, trains, and ships.
"Thank you to the 62 BUMNs that have participated. I am proud that, for the fourth time, the number of BUMNs involved has increased. This is a commitment from BUMNs to serve the public. We will continue to push for this spirit of synergy," she stated.
Rini also appreciated the increase in the number of participants in the 2018 Mudik Bareng BUMN program, which reached 206,209 travelers, a 74.43% increase from 118,220 travelers in 2017. The number of destinations also grew to 108 cities, compared to 84 cities in 2017.
"I hope that next year the number will continue to increase. More BUMNs will collaborate. I will continue to encourage BUMNs to participate in programs that directly benefit the public," said Minister Rini. (Source: tribunnews.com)
