Randi Anto, the President Director of Perum Jamkrindo, accompanied the Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) Rini Soemarno and the President Director of PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) to see off the participants of the Mudik Bersama BUMN event at Senen Station, Jakarta, on Tuesday, June 5, 2018. Other BUMN directors from companies like Jasa Raharja, Taspen, BNI, and Pertamina were also present to observe the departure of travelers on the Stasiun Pasar Senen to Stasiun Blitar route.
“We hope this free mudik program can bring blessings and benefits to the community, and that in the future, the program can continue. For those who are going back to their hometowns today, I wish you a safe journey and hope you arrive safely at your destination,” said Minister Rini Soemarno.
The 2018 Mudik Bareng BUMN program, initiated by the Ministry of BUMN, facilitated over 200,000 travelers with 394 destinations.
Separately, Randi Anto, the President Director of Perum Jamkrindo, mentioned that the company will send 1,300 travelers using buses, trains, and ships. Perum Jamkrindo will start the departure of travelers on June 8 and 9, 2018, alongside other BUMN companies, with destinations in West Java, Central Java, East Java, and Sulawesi.
This event is open to the public, requiring travelers to provide identification such as ID cards, family cards, and follow Perum Jamkrindo’s social media accounts for updates.
In addition to Mudik, as part of its corporate social responsibility during Ramadan and leading up to the Idul Fitri 1439 H holiday, Perum Jamkrindo organized a series of social activities, including distributing free basic food packages and providing assistance to orphans.
The distribution of food packages and donations to orphans is part of a series of social events to celebrate the company's 48th anniversary, which falls on July 1, 2018.
