To celebrate its 48th anniversary, Perum Jamkrindo organized an audition for potential stars among its employees by hosting the Jamkrindo in Melody competition on Tuesday, June 26, 2018. On June 28, 2018, the company also held the Jamkrindo Got Talent art contest.
These singing and performing arts competitions are part of Perum Jamkrindo's efforts to discover the artistic potential of its employees while also fostering camaraderie among staff.
Notably, in these two competitions, Perum Jamkrindo brought in top-tier celebrities as judges. Andika from The Titans was a judge for the singing competition, while the Jamkrindo Got Talent competition featured the renowned illusionist Demian.
The Chairperson of the 48th Anniversary Committee, M. Solihin, stated that the Jamkrindo in Melody and Jamkrindo Got Talent competitions were participated in by representatives from the Head Office, Regional Offices, Special Branch Office of Jakarta, Jakarta Branch Offices, as well as Cooperatives and Subsidiaries, both in groups and individually.
Each participant showcased their creativity to the fullest, not just creatively but also uniquely and humorously. It’s no surprise that throughout the competition, the venue was filled with laughter from the audience, including Perum Jamkrindo’s Board of Directors.
The presence of supporters from each work unit further heated the atmosphere. Each group of supporters brought props and chants to cheer on the participants from their respective units. The lively competition between supporters was unavoidable.
“With this event, we can tap into the artistic potential of our employees, who could later become Perum Jamkrindo’s ambassadors at various events outside the company,” said M. Solihin.
In addition to sports and arts activities during the 48th Anniversary celebrations, Perum Jamkrindo has also carried out social activities, such as providing cataract surgery assistance in Sumedang, Blood Donation, Orphan Charity, Ramadan Safari, and Jamkrindo Peduli Education by donating 39,000 school supplies to elementary schools.
Perum Jamkrindo has come a long way, fulfilling its responsibilities as a Guarantee Company, starting from the establishment of the Cooperative Credit Guarantee Institution (LJKK) in 1971, eventually transforming into Perum Jaminan Kredit Indonesia (Perum Jamkrindo). This long journey has brought both opportunities and challenges for the people of Perum Jamkrindo to remain prominent in every aspect.
It is hoped that the series of activities celebrating the 48th Anniversary will inspire Perum Jamkrindo employees to contribute optimally to the company. This includes working smarter, harder, more thoroughly, and with sincerity for the advancement of Perum Jamkrindo, while fostering a sense of care and unity among employees.
