JAKARTA – A wave of sorrow is sweeping across Indonesia, particularly in Banten and Lampung. A tsunami struck the Pandeglang and South Lampung areas. As a gesture of compassion, Perum Jamkrindo quickly moved to distribute logistical aid to the tsunami victims in Banten. In collaboration with Perum Bulog, Perum Jamkrindo provided aid in the form of food packages.
The aid was handed over directly by the Branch Leader of Serang, Asep Hadiana, to the BUMN coordination post, which included Krakatau Steel and BRI.
Perum Jamkrindo’s President Director, Randi Anto, expressed his deepest condolences for the disaster. He hopes that the assistance will be beneficial and help ease the burden of the victims.
"In addition to Banten, we have also provided assistance in Lampung," said Randi.
Randi emphasized that Perum Jamkrindo is committed to being present and responsive to the recovery efforts in both Banten and Lampung. He also appreciated the synergy built by state-owned enterprises that quickly identified the needs for evacuation, community recovery, and public service restoration.
"We will continue to do our best. Our prayers are with those who have lost their families and loved ones," Randi added. (Public Relations)
