Perum Jamkrindo's Ramadan Safari Continues in Kendari

KENDARI – After conducting the Ramadan Safari in Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan, and Yogyakarta, Perum Jamkrindo's Ramadan Safari continued in Kendari, Southeast Sulawesi, on Wednesday, May 15, 2019. In 2019, the Ramadan Safari was held in 10 cities across various regions. The Ramadan Safari activities consisted of several events, including visits to business partners, breaking fast together, and providing aid and donations for orphans.

Perum Jamkrindo's President Director, Randi Anto, stated that the Ramadan Safari is a regular activity carried out by Perum Jamkrindo every Ramadan. The activity aims to bring Perum Jamkrindo closer to the community and strengthen ties with business partners. Through the Ramadan Safari, Perum Jamkrindo, which primarily engages in the guarantee business, aims to connect and share with the community as part of the BUMN Hadir untuk Negeri (SOEs Present for the Nation) program.

The Ramadan Safari is also part of Perum Jamkrindo’s commitment to maintaining good relations with all parties, including the community, and encouraging productive activities within the community. This aligns with the core business of Perum Jamkrindo, which is providing credit guarantees for Micro, Small, Medium Enterprises, and Cooperatives (UMKMK).

In addition to Banjarmasin, Yogyakarta, and Kendari, the Ramadan Safari was also held in Pekanbaru, Surabaya, Malang, Palembang, Bandung, Denpasar, and Serang. "The month of Ramadan is a blessed month. On this good occasion, we are building relationships with business partners while helping those in need," said Randi Anto.

Through the Ramadan Safari, Perum Jamkrindo hopes to share and get closer to the community as part of the BUMN Hadir untuk Negeri (BHUN) program. The Director of HR, General Affairs, and Compliance, Sulis Usdoko, attended the Ramadan Safari in Kendari to visit several business partners, break fast together, and give donations to the children at the Hidayatullah Orphanage.

Sulis Usdoko explained that the orphan donation activity is a form of Perum Jamkrindo’s care for the community. As a company fully owned by the government, Perum Jamkrindo does not only pursue business performance but also strives to implement programs that directly benefit the community.

"We hope that this aid becomes a blessing for all of us. A blessing for Perum Jamkrindo and the community during this Ramadan. Hopefully, Perum Jamkrindo’s presence will be truly felt by the community, and the relationship between Perum Jamkrindo, business partners, and the community will continue to strengthen," said Sulis.

Perum Jamkrindo distributed 100 packages of staple goods and donations for 80 orphans, as well as a financial donation of IDR 20 million to the Hidayatullah Orphanage.

The Chairman of the Hidayatullah Orphanage Foundation, Achmad Syahroni, expressed his gratitude for the aid provided by Perum Jamkrindo. "We thank you, this aid will greatly help the needs of our foundation," he said. He hopes that such activities will continue to strengthen the bond of friendship.

The Ramadan Safari and distribution of aid to the community are part of the activities leading up to Perum Jamkrindo's 49th Anniversary on July 1. After the launch of the 49th Anniversary celebration last week, various activities will continue until the peak of the celebration.
