Perum Jamkrindo Participates in Organizing Free Mudik with Various Modes of Transportation, Including Ships on Different Routes. On Wednesday (May 29, 2019), Perum Jamkrindo sent off homebound travelers using ships from Tanjung Priok to Makassar, with the departure being observed by the Director of Human Resources, General Affairs, and Compliance, Sulis Usdoko, and the Director of Operations and Networks, Kadar Wisnuwarman.

In a conversation with several travelers, Sulis Usdoko mentioned that the free mudik program organized by BUMN is an effort to provide comfort to the participants. "The travelers are very enthusiastic about participating in the Mudik Bareng BUMN program. We hope the whole mudik process goes smoothly, and the travelers safely arrive at their hometowns," said Sulis Usdoko.

In collaboration with PT Pelayaran Nasional Indonesia (Persero) as the transportation provider, this year Perum Jamkrindo sent off 500 travelers using ships.

A total of 8 routes were serviced by Perum Jamkrindo, including Kumai–Semarang, Sampit–Surabaya, Batam–Belawan, Sampit–Semarang, Makassar–Surabaya, Makassar–Bima, Makassar–Bau Bau, and Jakarta–Makassar. "Of the 1,700 travelers we are sending this year, 500 participants are using sea transport," said Sulis Usdoko.

With the variety of alternative mudik routes available, Kadar hopes that the Mudik Bareng BUMN program can help the public return to their hometowns safely and comfortably. "We are very happy to participate in facilitating a safe and comfortable mudik for the public. We hope the mudik runs smoothly, and the travelers experience comfort thanks to the BUMN synergy that is in place to make this program a success," said Kadar.

Sulis Usdoko added that, in addition to releasing participants using ships, on the same day, Perum Jamkrindo also released travelers using buses from the company’s headquarters. A total of 700 travelers were sent off to various cities, including Surabaya, Malang, Pekalongan, Yogyakarta, and Padang.

"On Thursday, May 30, 2019, we will also release 500 travelers using trains," said Sulis Usdoko.

In addition to the Mudik Bareng program, during this Ramadan, Perum Jamkrindo also organized a series of social activities, including distributing free basic food packages and providing assistance to orphans.
