Perum Jamkrindo Releases Travelers at Senen Station

After previously releasing participants of the Mudik Bareng BUMN 2019 for bus and sea transportation on Wednesday, May 30, 2019, today Perum Jamkrindo once again released participants of the mudik (homecoming) using train transportation at Pasar Senen Station. The release of 500 travelers was conducted by the Director of Finance, Investment, and Risk Management of Jamkrindo, I Rusdonobanu.

Rusdonobanu, during the release event of the Mudik Bareng BUMN participants, said that Perum Jamkrindo is always committed to facilitating a safe and comfortable mudik for the participants. This year, Perum Jamkrindo sent off 1,700 mudik participants, consisting of 500 participants traveling by train, 500 by ship, and 700 by bus to various locations across Indonesia, such as Java, Sumatra, and Sulawesi. "Today, we are sending off travelers using the Tawang Jaya and Brantas trains, with final destinations in Semarang and Blitar. We hope the mudik journey goes smoothly, and that the travelers experience comfort thanks to the synergy between BUMN (State-Owned Enterprises) to make this program a success,” he said.

Next, Rusdonobanu explained that Perum Jamkrindo had opened free mudik registration via the website mudikbumn.co.id, which was open from April 3, 2019, to April 30, 2019. Through this application, potential travelers could easily, quickly, and comfortably register online. “Travelers can directly check their registration status and see the availability of quotas on the provided website,” said Rusdonobanu.

In addition to the mudik program, during this year’s Ramadan, Perum Jamkrindo also organized a series of social activities, including distributing free basic food packages and providing assistance to orphans. The distribution of food packages and the donation to orphans were part of the social activities to celebrate the company’s 49th anniversary, which falls on July 1, 2019.

The donation was made in 10 cities, namely Banjarmasin, Yogyakarta, Pekanbaru, Kendari, Bandung, Palembang, Surabaya, Malang, Denpasar, and Serang, and was attended by the Board of Directors of Perum Jamkrindo. “A total of 4,000 free food packages were distributed and 3,000 orphans received assistance,” he said.
