Collaboration between companies has become an essential strategy for gaining a competitive edge in today's highly competitive business environment. Perum Jamkrindo, a state-owned enterprise (BUMN) specializing in credit guarantees, has established a partnership with PT Asuransi Binagriya Upakara, another state-owned company in the insurance sector.
The collaboration agreement was formally signed by Perum Jamkrindo’s President Director, Randi Anto, and PT Asuransi Binagriya Upakara’s President Director, Marisa Gemiralda, on Thursday, July 18, 2019, at Perum Jamkrindo’s headquarters. The event was also attended by the board of directors from both companies.
This partnership includes an agreement on co-branding for insurance placement for banks, financial institutions, and other guaranteed entities.
Perum Jamkrindo's President Director, Randi Anto, expressed optimism about the collaboration, stating:

Previously, Perum Jamkrindo and PT Asuransi Binagriya Upakara had already collaborated, primarily in fire insurance placement for homeownership loan (KPR) guarantees and simple KPRs under the Housing Finance Liquidity Facility (FLPP).
"In our previous collaboration, 52.6% of the KPR and FLPP simple KPR guarantee portfolio was co-guaranteed by Perum Jamkrindo to PT Binagriya Upakara," added Randi Anto.
Under this new agreement, Perum Jamkrindo and PT Binagriya Upakara will expand their partnership to include marketing and promotion of various Binagriya Upakara insurance products, including: Personal Accident Insurance, Contractor All Risk Insurance, Family Pro Insurance, Fire Insurance, Property All Risk Insurance, Marine Cargo Insurance.
Through this collaboration, Perum Jamkrindo will also promote Binagriya Upakara’s insurance products to banks, financial institutions, and other guaranteed entities via its extensive distribution channels.
"This partnership benefits both companies—Perum Jamkrindo earns a percentage-based fee, while PT Binagriya Upakara gains new customers. More importantly, this collaboration also enhances both companies' market share," said Randi Anto.
