The Association of Employees' Wives and Female Employees of Jamkrindo (PIKA Jamkrindo) has carried out a targeted and impactful social care initiative aimed at easing the burdens of underprivileged communities.
"For two consecutive weeks, we have provided social assistance to our designated beneficiaries, namely orphans and underprivileged children at Permata Hati Orphanage in Bogor, as well as waste scavenger communities at Rawakucing Landfill in Tangerang," said PIKA Jamkrindo Chairperson, Umi Randi Anto.
The social service activities at these two locations included: Donations, basic necessities, and school supplies for children at Permata Hati Orphanage in Bogor and 600 free staple food packages for waste scavengers at Rawakucing Landfill in Tangerang, each containing: 5 kg of rice, 1 liter of cooking oil, 1 kg of sugar, 5 packs of instant noodles, 1 box of tea bags.
"This assistance is provided entirely free of charge as a tangible manifestation of our concern for underprivileged communities," said PIKA Jamkrindo's Social Affairs Officer, Phingky Sulis Usdoko.
All PIKA Jamkrindo administrators hope that their efforts will bring benefits and help alleviate the burdens of those in need.
